Reviews and Ratings
Our stay at the hotel was lovely. The room, although basic in furniture, was clean and offered a beautiful ocean view. The service was excellent, with staff going above and beyond to ensure our comfort. The location was convenient for visiting the historic Fort Louisbourg, and the dining experience, while reasonably priced, provided enjoyable meals. However, the room did not overlook the water directly, and the theatrical show at service was a bit embarrassing.
The hotel is a gem by the ocean, offering spacious and nicely decorated rooms. The service was exceptional, making us feel like family. Its proximity to the Louisbourg Historical Fort adds to its appeal, but it's a bit isolated from other attractions. The dining experience was delightful, with homemade rolls stealing the show.
Staying at this hotel was a mixed experience. On the positive side, the rooms were conveniently close to the Fortress Louisbourg and the town, offering ample space for our family with a 16-month-old. However, the soundproofing was lacking, and our view was of the parking lot, which could have been better.
I found the hotel to be a perfect choice for our stay, with spacious and clean rooms that were nicely furnished. The service was exceptional, with staff going out of their way to assist us even in challenging situations. The location was superb, especially for exploring the historic Fortress of Louisbourg, and the dining experience, although a bit overpriced, offered a chance to socialize with other guests.
The hotel offers a spacious room with a captivating two-way mirror providing views of the bay, lighthouse, and Louisbourg fort. The room was huge, very clean, and had thick Roman blinds offering a lovely water view. The service was exceptional, with friendly and helpful staff engaging in an era dance and serving a delicious $8.95 breakfast in a neighboring dining room. The location provided breathtaking ocean views and easy access to the Louisbourg Historical Fort. Dining was delightful with American-inspired dishes. However, there is room for improvement in some areas of the property.
